The Idea Behind the Site
The idea for AI Dungeon Master Tools was born from a rather unexpected—and frankly disappointing—experience in a social media group dedicated to Dungeon Masters. I had joined this group hoping to share ideas, learn, and connect with other DMs. When I brought up the concept of using AI tools to assist with world-building and campaign prep, I was met with many negative and hostile responses.
I was surprised to see how resistant some people were to the idea of integrating AI into our shared passion for storytelling. I realized though, that there must be others out there like me: people open to exploring how these new tools can enhance, rather than diminish, the magic of tabletop role-playing.
